OH MY GOSH! You’d think that I haven’t worked out in weeks by how hard it was motivating me to move through the workout this morning! And – AND I intentionally weighed myself on Sunday to avoid the post-Christmas excess poundage, using that number (instead of today’s) as my weekly weigh in number…John, my personal trainer, was NOT having it. Let’s just say, nothing was lost in that 2-day span of sugar-high-and-carb-load-y goodness!
Thank goodness the holidays are done for a while! Not that I don’t love the whole fam-(d word that I am not “supposed” to say)-ly, but it has to be one of the hardest things ever to do a dramatic lifestyle change over the holiday… *sigh* …it is super obvious why people make new year resolutions rather than get a pre-season head start on their get-in-shape goals. But onward and upward, they say!
Weigh in is tomorrow (wish me luck!) and while I HAVE been staying on track as far as eating goes (<—I only capitalize the ‘have’ because my body camp challenge [BCC] buddy heard through the grapevine from one of my readers that I have been falling off the wagon), this last week and 1/2 have been minimal on the workouts — this is the wagon I have to catch up to and jump back on!
